i have dusted my tools and conquered my workshop. a repair job for barbara's colleague. the felt handles don't last but my braided ones do.

NEW LEATHER FINALLY!!!!

There, I've done it. Yesterday I took Martin, put him the car and went to Tuscany for the day. Wasn't such an easy trip as I imagined but in the end it got me there. And I got my leather, that's what I wanted after all. Here some pictures. So get ready for some astonishing leatherwork...

 this one is the the softest leather, 1,5 mm thick, soft but resistant

 it's been a bit silent on my side, i have been very busy worrying but on the hindsight i think it doesn't help...

well here are a couple of belts, just finished, stitched with a new technique, a little bit uncertain in some points...

i have to make two new belts. a few sequences. finally in my workshop again, after having to work in the kitchen for the last month since it was too cold to waste so much firewood to heat up the extra room... and i had a real helper who provided some live music!!!
